HLG 550 V2 is an upgraded LED grow light from Horticulture Lighting Group. Now, it is a one of the most top rating growing light that available in the market. The ETL and UL certified grow light’s product dimensions are 26 x 20 x 3 inches, and weight is 19.76 pounds (8.96 kg). This unit comes with a 3000k spectrum color option.
The 550 V2 grow light build with four custom-designed white light quantum boards with high-quality Samsung LM301H diodes and 660nm Red LEDs. The quantum boards are made with high efficiency and full-spectrum white LED lights—red LEDs are used for enhanced flowering. LM301H LEDs more efficient up to 15% than other LED grow lights.
The inventronics driver runs the cooler and keeps the light always cool. It also helps the grow light to run more efficiently. SPIDER FARMER SF 4000 is an upgraded commercial high yielding LED grow light. Build with Samsung LM301B diodes like HLG 550 V2. These energy-saving diodes (run 50% less power than other LEDs) can reach more light to plants and provide powerful light output and uniform canopy penetration to achieving maximum higher yields.
The SF 4000 full-spectrum growing light is perfect for all growth stages. It comes with red (660 nm), IR (760 nm), white(3000K), and blue(5000K) LEDs. Blue light increases your plants’ growth rate, and white light makes the flower bigger and vivid. Red and IR lights are useful at the BLOOM stage. Only one grow lamp can adjust the light intensity at your growth library.

My Opinion
You already know everything about these two top-range LED grow lights. Though the price range is not the same, I think both of them worth the money.
- If you are looking for a heavy durable quantum board grow light, you should go for the HLG one. Otherwise, you can go for SPIDER FARMER LED. This one is also durable.
- If you have a budget problem you should go for SPIDER FARMER SF4000, otherwise HLG 550. Because there is almost a $200+ difference.
- Both companies are claiming, they are perfect for 5′ x 5′ for the BLOOM stage, and 6′ x 6′ for the VEG stage. But in my opinion, they are great for the 4′ x 4′ area.
- SPIDER FARMER provides more good customer service than Horticulture Lighting Group.
My Winner: SPIDER FARMER SF-4000 LED Grow Light is the WINNER for me considering all aspects.
